Working to save good union jobs in the US

In January, 2013, is was announced that the Hess oil refinery in the American state of New Jersey would close. The union representing most of the workers at the refinery is the United Electrical Workers - UE. It has not only negotiated a severance package for the workers but is actively searching to find a buyer for the facility.
